Phoenix’s newest restaurant, Sushi Vibe, is a family-friendly Japanese dining option that serves fresh sushi cuisine in a sleek, modern setting.
The Valley food scene has continued to diversify its culinary offerings over the years—and Uptown Plaza has served as a major influencer in pushing those trends for Arizona foodies and consumers alike. Sushi Vibe is a prime example of that.

From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 pm., this family-friendly event will feature face painting by Sweet Pea Face Painting, pumpkin decorating, Halloween crafts, yard games and more. Scoopwell’s Dough Bar will have speed stack races outside of their shop, with the fastest time every half hour earning a free four-scoop of dough. Uptown Plaza is central Phoenix will be accepting submissions for artwork on their seven benches around the center. The contest will run from June 1st through the 15th.
The benches were made by Modern Manor’s Ryan Durkin, who recreated them based on blueprints found in an old trunk of one of Disneyland’s original designers.
Artists will have one month to complete their artwork (July 1-31), which will then be placed back at Uptown Plaza with a placard acknowledging each artists work. A stipend will be given to the seven chosen artists.
